Who can wear the body care products?
   
    Our all natural body care products are great for all skin types, and are especially beneficial to our clients who have dry skin, eczema, dry patches, etc. The whipped body butters are great for those looking to apply a product that isn't too greasy, yet also allows them to avoid having to re-apply throughout the day as you would do with a lotion. While the body scrubs give a gentle exfoliation as they leave your skin feeling smooth and moisturized.
What is a whipped body butter?
   
    Whipped body butter is a mixture of butters such as Shea butter (vegan), and Mango butter (vegan), that have been melted down and have added skin nourishing oils added to benefit your skin. The oils go through a process where they are whipped and result in a soft, silky texture that goes on the skin.
What's in the whipped body butter? 
    Our whipped body butters contain both Shea butter (vegan), and Mango butter (vegan), as the main base. Added to these great butters are nourishing oils such as jojoba oil, organic rosehip seed oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin E oil, some contain essential oils, as well as a few other oils to help heal, repair, and leave your skin looking and feeling amazing!

What are waist beads?

    Waist beads are strands of beads made to be placed around the mid-section of the body. Originating centuries ago in Africa, traditionally, these beads, when worn on the waist, or hips, were a symbol of femininity, fertility, sensuality, and spiritual well-being. 

Why wear waist beads?

    Waist beads can be worn for weight awareness, as they help gauge weight loss/gain. 

    They can help with being more aware of posture. The way you sit, breathe, and move may not be something you think about daily, but with the waist beads on, they will assist with reminding you to sit up straight, engage your stomach muscles, and remember to breathe properly.

    In many cultures in Africa, waist beads are used to enhance sensuality, and are closely associated with fertility. Some waist beads are also created for pregnant women to provide protection for both mother and baby.  

Who can wear waist beads?

    Everyone!!! Each custom made waist bead strand is created to sit on every beautiful waist and hip! 

How do I measure for my waist beads?

With a tape measure, or using string/yarn and a ruler:

Step 1: With clean hands, relax your stomach (don't suck it in), take your tape measure and wrap it around your mid-section where you would like your beads to sit. (Be sure to remove any clothing that may get in the way when measuring, this will result in an inaccurate measurement.) 

Step 2: Without pulling tight on the tape measure, look at the number the metal end falls on. That will be your measurement.

Can I use my jeans/pants size for my waist beads measurement?

    Unfortunately, you can not use your jeans/pants size for your waist bead measurement. Your jeans/pants sizes run differently and sit on your body in a different way than the waist beads. So we would need you to measure where you would like your waist beads to sit, so we can create a waist beads strand just for you!

What sizes do the waist beads come? 

    Our tie on (permanent) waist beads come in:

      Standard (0-45 inches)

      More to Love (46-60 inches)

Please note: There is a $3 fee per strand added to sizes 46-60 inches**

    Our removable waist beads come in:

      Standard (0-40 inches)

      More to Love (41-60 inches)

Please note: There is a $3 fee per strand added to sizes 41-60 inches**

**There is a $8 fee per strand to make it removable**

 What type of waist beads do you offer?

    Currently we offer tie on (permanent), and removable waist bead options. When purchasing tie on waist beads, please keep in mind they will only come off if you cut them, or they have served their purpose and break. These will stay on you everyday, so be careful about pulling on them when changing, using the restroom, etc.

    Our removable waist beads are made with a beading wire that is wrapped in plastic so its very soft, but very sturdy and long lasting! This waist bead option DOES NOT STRETCH, so as stated for the tie on option, be careful when changing, using the restroom, etc., to avoid popping them. **There is an $8 fee per strand to make it removable**

Can I wear waist beads while pregnant?

    Yes! Wearing waist beads before, during and after your pregnancy can be very beneficial! Tying waist beads on before or during your pregnancy can help you gauge you and your baby's growth, and many strands help bring protective and positive energy to the mother and baby. After pregnancy the waist beads can be used to gauge weight loss, be aware of eating habits, keeping good posture, and to keep good energy and spirits within and around.

How many waist beads should I wear?

    You can wear as many as you want! Pairing your waist beads is definitely a personal choice. Our suggestion would be to get two or three to start off with if you are new to wearing waist beads, and then get more after. 

Can I shower/get my waist beads wet?

    Of course! Our tie on waist beads are made to live with you, so whatever you do, they will do with you happily! As for our removable waist beads, you are free to leave them on, or take them off before getting in the shower, tub, or pool. 

Please note: If any of your waist bead strands have charms or adornments, depending on the finish, they may fade/change color, due to the water, soap, lotions, friction against clothing, etc. that they may come in contact with. This may also happen to some beads depending on how they are made. So to preserve your waist beads with charms/adornments, we do suggest taking them off before getting wet.

Shipping FAQ

How long will it be before I get my order?

    Because we make our body care in small batches as the orders are placed, it will take up to 7 to 10 business days after orders are placed before they are shipped out. You will be updated and receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped. Please keep in mind because of the pandemic, the post office may be running behind and it may affect your order arriving on the estimated delivery date initially given.

    For waist bead orders, depending on the order amount, design, etc., please allow  7 to 10 business days from the time of purchase before they are processed, completed, and shipped out.

Please note: If ordering both body care and waist beads in the same order, please allow 7 to 10 business days from the time of purchase for your items to be processed, completed, and shipped, everything will shipped together.

When do you ship your products?

    Orders are shipped out Monday through Friday between 9am and 3pm. We do not ship on Saturday, Sunday, or National Holidays. If an order is placed after 3pm Monday-Friday, your items will be shipped out the following day IF it is ready. If your order is placed on Friday after 3pm, it will be shipped out the following Monday, IF it is ready. Tracking numbers will be sent to you after the items are shipped. I ordered, but still have not received my order. What do I do?

    Once your items have been shipped you will receive a tracking number. Once it gets to the post office, it is out of our control. For any shipping issues after you receive your tracking number, please contact the post office to file a complaint.

I ordered whipped body butter and it came melted. What do I do?

    Due to the temperature of the environment, and length of time it takes to get to you after we ship, sometimes the butters and oils melt, or get a slight grittiness. Don't panic! Simply pop your jar into the refrigerator for a few minutes and it will set it back to its solid texture. Now it ready to use! 

I ordered waist beads, but they don't fit. What do I do?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returned items. We ask that you send precise measurements to make sure we are creating the unique strands that fit you just right. (See return policy for more information.)

I want to order waist beads for a special event/day. How long in advance should I place my order?

    All orders are unique and individually hand made. As we work to get items out as soon as we can while keeping the quality high, we ask that you order at least 2-3 weeks in advance, to ensure your items get to you. There is an option for expedited shipping for $20, if you need items shipped quicker. (See Shipping policies for more information.)
